Dear Colleagues,
We would be very grateful if you will be so kind to invite students of your faculties to participate in the summer school organized by Faculty of Horticulture, Biotechnology and Landscape Architecturein Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW ‘Ecological, cultural and social values in urban landscape design on example of the Praga district in Warsaw’. The summer school is planned as 10 days course (from 6th to 17th of July)  in the Praga district of WarsawTarget groups are Master and PhD students of landscape architecture from the CEEPUS universities (scholarships for 10 students have been granted – 8 for Master students and 2 – for PhD students) and all students from the outside of the CEEPUS Program who are interested to join the course. The aim of this summer school is to better understand the urban landscape ecological, cultural and social values and the importance of taking all these values into consideration in the designing process. Based on introductive lectures, meetings with experts and local authorities representatives and field trips, students (in number of 22) organized in international groups of 3-4 persons are going to work out guidelines and design solutions for the study area aiming at landscape values protection and management. For application, students should send an email to: wuls.summer.school@gmail.com or malgorzata_kaczynska@sggw.pl  krzysztof_herman@sggw.pl
