Program aims:

The program offers complex scientific research and development knowledge in the field of landscape architecture, urban and environmental design, landscape protection and reclamation, landscape planning, social-economic aspects of climate change. The doctoral programs are tailored to the goals of each student.

Landscape Planning and Open Space Design

  • Garden and open space design
  • Garden history and historic garden conservation
  • Environmental protection and environmental policy
  • Landscape planning and regional development
  • Landscape protection and landscape reclamation 
  • Urban planning and urban design
  • Urban open space systems and urban ecology

Research work:

  • Principles and methods of garden design and urban open space planning
  • Research in garden history and monument protection
  • Design of garden objects
  • Landscape architectural methods of regional planning and development
  • Requirements of landscape architecture and sustainable development in the process of improving underdeveloped regions
  • Principles and methods in landscape protection and rehabilitation
  • Studies in settlement ecology and quality of environment

Tuition fee: EUR 6000 /semester

Admission requirements:

  • MSc degree or its equivalent  in the field of landscape architecture, landscape ecology agricultural, applied mathematics, agricultural engineering, geography, environmental sciences, meteorology, information technology or life sciences,
  • knowledge of English,
  • previous participation in scientific activities (publications).
