Az V. Gödöllői Nemzetközi Természetfilm Fesztiválon aktívan részt vettek Karunk oktatói és hallgatói, több száz gyereknek felkeltve a kíváncsiságát a tájépítészet iránt. A Kárpát-medencei filmszemlén a Szent István Egyetem különdíját Tóth Zsolt Marcell nyerte el a Darumadár fenn az égen című filmjével: a díjat dr. Boromisza Zsombor, a Karunk oktatási dékánhelyettese adta át a királyi kastély lovardájában.
