INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING COMPETITION

Today, designers, urban planners, and landscape architects face the challenge of proposing creations that would draw on the identity of their location, meet social expectations, and, above all, integrate the object with the existing landscape. In light of the pace and dynamics of the transformation of the Polish landscape related to land development and construction new objects, there is a dire need for the scientific development towards effective cooperation of architecture and landscape architecture academic and research facilities aimed at shaping the spatial identity and governance.

The International Architecture and Landscaping Competition, Fort's New Life held by the Hugo Kołłątaj University of Agriculture in Kraków is part of the science promotion task 514/P-DUN/2019 financed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Its primary goal is to deliver a conceptual design of an Administrative Centre in Zielonki near Fort Marszowiec with a landscape design. The competition is intended for academic staff and students of architecture and landscape architecture from European universities.
